In times where learning can’t happen in the traditional classroom, ExxonMobil is keeping the learning going in the virtual STEM at Home series. ExxonMobil employees demonstrate family-friendly STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) experiments that can easily be done with little ones at home.
In the first installment of the STEM at Home series, the Coleman family teaches you how to make a bouncy egg. For this experiment, you will need:

In this episode, the White family shows you how to make silly putty. For this activity, you will need:
- A bowl
- Dishwashing liquid/soap
- Cornstarch
- Measuring spoon
Part three of our #STEMatHome series, featuring some of our own employees and their family members who are demonstrating STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) experiments. These family-friendly activities are an easy way to keep learning at home. For this week’s demonstration, you will need:
- Coffee filter(s)
- Markers
- Pipe cleaners
- Cups with water
- Plates
